Frustrating Day! :-s

I can see why Loops was ready to quit the game at one point.  It is like you roll the dice when you start a session and if it comes up snake-eyes you can't do anything to win.  In my last session of battles the top earning that I got was about 4,000 lions.  Every game had me sliced up before I could really get involved.  Here is a pic to sum up how my day is going so far (BTW - if you haven't guessed, I'm the PBY):

Yes, this 'Cane had me dead to rights, but it seems that every flight today sucked this bad.  I would have hoped that my gunners could have gotten off a shot or two to warn me he was coming...  It seems when I try this approach, I get sliced by the gunners.  I can't seem to win today.
