the 45 mm cannon is not that good the shell will be going all over the place

Thanks awsomeom, I am downloading the patch now looks like thousands of others are as well so 10 hours roughly.
Not looking forward to more cannons but lately been playing arcade and rather enjoying blowing people out of the sky with my P40 kittyhawk.

The update overall seems good. Prices of planes are down however there are a lot of upgrades you can purchase and as you might imagine it'll cost you. I'd be willing to bet a purchased and full upgraded plane will cost you more now then it did before.
One note about the Yak 9 with the 45mm cannon. Awesome is right the crosshairs are merely a suggestion or even more like wishful thinking the shells spray out in all directions and the ammo load is pathetic. Even if you are a good shot the rounds go all over the place even if you are flying straight and level. Its not worth worrying about. Plus if you fly team up like Loops and I did you'll be fine. We came out of the last Korea match we played in Typhoons with three kills each and not a scratch on either of us. The Yak pilots were not happy.

anyone know why the 109 f4s are now rank 8 it was fine at rank 7

My guess would be that now you can add cannon pods and pretty much tripple the firepower in exchange for a slight drop in aircraft performance. They seem to be holding their own at rank 8 well enough.
